NV Energy North Las Vegas Safety Chain Link Fence and Handrail Project

We recently completed a safety project at NV Energy’s North Las Vegas Training Facility. The project called for installing a safety chain link fence and handrail to prevent people from walking off and falling down to the ground.

In the images you can see this chain link fence that we did in a couple areas adjacent to one another.

Safety Chain Link Fence Project: NV Energy Apprenticeships

NV Energy’s Apprenticeship Program is structured job education integrating considerable on-the-job training and also associated class instruction. NV Energy’s instruction programs are provided together with IBEW Locals 396 and Local 1245.

They are also authorized by the State of Nevada Instruction Council. The training facility we provided the safety chain link fence for is part of the training program that supplies a large range of active apprenticeship programs consisting of programs in the lines, substation, metering, and gas departments.

An apprenticeship is a considerable commitment by NV Energy and the apprentice. It calls for solid mathematics skills, mechanical ability as well as the capability to work in all types of weather.

According to the Division of Labor workforce stats, energy jobs offer substantially low turn over, high ordinary per hour revenues as well as an expanding need for competent staff. Additionally, much of the apprenticeship possibilities need physical endurance along with the capability to operate at elevations.

In order to be considered for our apprenticeship programs, prospects must finish the ACT Work Keys analysis examinations prior to the advertised job opening has shut. Click here for a listing of required testing and scores.
